Refund policy

  • You have 14 working days from the date of receipt to return an item for an exchange or refund, provided it’s in original packaging, undamaged, and unfitted.
  • Returns with the original receipt within 14 days will be refunded in full to the original payment method, offered an exchange, or store credit of the same value.
  • After 14 days and up to 28 days, a 20% restocking fee will apply.
  • Restocking fees do not apply for defective items.
  • Items must be returned in as-new condition with all original packaging, brochures, and instructions.
  • Returns can be made in-store or at storage facilities, with guidance from our sales team.
  • Return shipping costs are the customer's responsibility; we recommend using a postal or courier service with insurance for the value of the goods.
  • Items remain your responsibility until they are received by us.

 

Right of Withdrawal (EU Customers)

If you are a consumer based in the European Union, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period

The withdrawal period expires 14 days from the day on which you (or a third party nominated by you, other than the carrier) take physical possession of the goods. Where your order consists of multiple items delivered separately, the period expires 14 days from the day you receive the last item. Where this period ends on a weekend or public holiday, it is extended to the next working day.

How to withdraw

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you can: 

  • Log into your account to access our self-serve returns and cancellations flow, where you can find your order and submit your request directly, or
  • Email us at info@tiledepot.ie with a clear statement of your decision, including your name and order number.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient that you send your communication before the 14-day period has expired.

If your order has not yet been fulfilled, you may request a cancellation through your account at any time before fulfilment. Once an item has been fulfilled, you may request a return within the 14-day window described above.

Effects of withdrawal

 If you withdraw from your purchase, we will reimburse all payments received from you, including the costs of standard delivery (except for any supplementary costs arising from your choice of a delivery type other than the standard delivery we offer).

We will make the reimbursement without undue delay, and no later than 14 days from the day on which we are informed of your decision to withdraw. We will make the reimbursement using the same means of payment you used for the original transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of the reimbursement.

We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back, or until you have supplied evidence of having sent the goods back, whichever is the earliest.

Returning the goods

 You must send back the goods without undue delay, and in any event no later than 14 days from the day you communicate your withdrawal to us. The deadline is met if you send the goods before the 14-day period has expired.

You will bear the direct cost of returning the goods.

You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling them beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics, and functioning.

Exceptions to the right of withdrawal

The right of withdrawal does not apply to: personalised goods.

Refunds

Refunds will be issued to the original payment method within the timeframe stated above.
